VMI Keydet Angels
History - Vision - Mission
Founded in 2025 by Virginia Military Institute alumnus Guy Conte, VMI Keydet Angels is a VMI Alumni group that seeks to strengthen VMI’s startup community by fostering relationships among entrepreneurs and alumni angel investors.
Our approach to the investment process creates opportunities for education, professional development, advising/mentoring, and growing one’s business and investment portfolio by investing in early-stage companies on an individual basis.
Though VMI Keydet Angels is not legally, nor directly affiliated with nor endorsed by VMI, our passion is derived from the integrity and intensity exemplified by VMI’s Corps of Cadets. We are focused on helping our fellow alumni.
Membership is open to all alumni and their spouses, parents, and children; faculty, staff or administration. At the discretion of the VMI KEYDET ANGELS Board of Directors, people outside of VMI who share the interests and objectives of the club may also be granted membership as “non-affiliated” members.
The VMI Keydet Angel will be a community of VMI Alumni who invest our time, expertise and capital into world-class startups.
